Mackenzie Design Gets a Professional Engineer

Alec Mackenzie has just passed the Professional Engineer (PE) licensure exam for the State of Maine!

What is a PE?  A PE is more than just someone with an engineering degree.  PEs must first graduate from an ABET accredited engineering program.  Then, they must pass the fundamentals of engineering (FE) test.  After 4 more years serving as an engineer in training (EIT) under the guidance of another PE they are eligible to sit for the PE licensure exam.

Having Alec as a PE will enable Mackenzie Design to take on larger projects of deeper scope and deliver more value to our customers.
